What's the science behind the Lavijue Ampoule?
There are only 7 ingredients in the serum, yet it promises 6 effects.
The ingredients
1. EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) stimulates cell growth, supporting natural skin rejuvenation.
2. TXA (Tranexamic acid) is a protein that fights against pigmentation, and is approved as a skin lightener. It can repair the skin too, but acting as a barrier.
3. PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is also used in 婴儿针, which literally means "Baby injection". From the name, I guess you can understand more or less what's the use of this ingredient. It is regeneration DNA fragments that is identical to human DNA, promoting collagen synthesis and wound healing, establishing baby-like skin.
4. FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factors) works together with the hormones in our body, giving a holistic anti-aging component in the treatment, as it forms skin structural materials like collagen and elastin.
5. γ-PGA is extracted from the Korean fermented bean paste known as "Cheonggukjang" (fellow kpop fans hands up please!). It helps to retains moisture, which is 5 times more effective than Hyaluronic Acid. Those who are a beauty addict will know how hyaluronic acid is typically used as a hydrating moisturiser as it iknown for its moisturising abilities, hence this shows how useful γ-PGA is! Hydrated skin can allow us to say goodbye to fine lines and wave hello to more glowing skin!
6. Sodium hyaluronate is a water-soluble salt in the form of hyaluronic acid that is more stable, less likely to oxidized, smaller in molecule and hence pentrates into the skin more easily. With more moisture, the skin will less dull, giving brighter skin.
7.Glutathione (GSH) - is an anti-oxidant to improve the skin condition by protecting the skin from toxic radicals and diseases. GSH is used in 美白针, which means "White Jab" It generates other anti-oxidants as well, effectively brightening the skin.
